E.V.O. is a rather unique RPG. It is one of Enix's better RPGs. I would love to see this title on the Gameboy Advance. Has anyone else played E.V.O. here?

Yeah, me. I love E.V.O too. Although the Ending was a little disappointing...

Bah, the ending sucked. Ah well. Another good RPG (I thought) by Enix was Brain Lord. Seems like everyone else hates this game...what do you think?

Yuck! Brainlord sucks! Even operating the menu system takes time to learn.

C'mon! Brainlord isn't awesome! Okay, I admit; It isn't the worst game ever, but it's not great and most certainly not awesome!!! But anyways, have you played Actraiser? Now that's a game that rocked!

Brainlord is still awesome no matter what you say. And yes, I've played Actraiser and have beat both 1 and 2. I like 1 a lot better because you get to create the towns and stuff, that is so very fun! Another good game by Enix is Robotrek, and a very bad game by Enix is Paladin's Quest.

First of all, Brainlord is not a bad game. It has its good points like the very challenging puzzles, but it also does have many bad points like the very old fashioned and awkward game play. And yes, I agree with you Boxxleman, Act Raiser 1 is much better than Act Raiser 2. 2 was just way to tough to beat, and it lacked the really cool town system that the first one had.

Mkay...
EVO: Never played, but sounds like a really cool concept.
ActRaiser: Nope. I was a "sheltered" child.
Brain Lord: I DID play this one. I only made it to the town with the arena, but that was one of the NICEST towns I had ever been in.The puzzles were a pain to solve sometimes, though. And the menu system could have used some tweaking.

Yeah, he had those sweet wings and he could fly a little. The play control was better in Act Raiser 2, but the game just wasn't as good and it was really hard. 8)

Yeah, but I really missed the Town-creating stuff. Enix said they wanted to make AR2 a pure platformer, because people "liked the platform part most in AR." Yeah right... Actually, I found AR2 a pretty bad game. It's a disgrace to the Soulblazer series. All the Soulblazers are RPG's or have something RPG-ish in them (AR, E.V.O), but AR2 didn't, and that's why I don't think it belongs in the Soulblazer series.

Yep, I agree. AR2 just didn't have it. Not a good game. Just not good! ;D

Havent played actraiser, but I gave EVO a go. It was a good concept with the evoving and stuff, except for the fact that I couldnt evolve. I turned into a manta ray once, but that was only temporary, and I still couldnt attack or defend myself. I had this big menu of things that I could evolve, each costing at least 200 of these mythical evolution points which Im fairly certain didnt exist. So, I passed the three volcanos, and ended up being continually slaughted in a cave full of sharks. I mean, I cant attack them, and they swim faster then me. Whats up with that?

Woooooh! Then you're doing something SERIOUSLY [glow=red,2,300]WRONG!!![/glow] Check your emulator for that. Not being able to attack is wrong. There should be a button for that! (duh) ;D EVO is a really great game, and it's really too bad when it's f**k
ed up!
